Already serving the community, holding services, and expanding its ministry, The Lutheran Church of Hope Johnston-Grimes has a big move in the works. The first phase of the new facilities within the Heritage at Grimes community opens in 2018. The 21,150-square-foot building will serve as a community and worship center. Gathering spaces, educational facilities, and a flexible 500-seat worship space represents Phase I of development on the 15-acre site. An outdoor plaza and worship space will connect the building to a stormwater retention pond on-site. Oriented toward the pond, the building maximizes connections to the water.
